Inspiration: June 18

Realized I had run out of coffee. Used some vanilla flavored that John had given me. Don’t like flavored coffee. 8 a.m. and am drinking coke.

It will be hot, I’m sure, but this morning, it’s still ok. Walked around the garden (which, of course, needs work), and found this to share.

Am I in Tahiti? What a great trip that was! From California, it took 10 zillion hours and cost a fortune and that was almost 30 years ago, and I promised I’d go back. Yikes, and I can’t even figure out tickets to Portland, Oregon.

For fun, I think I’ll look up how much it costs to go to Tahiti today…

Stress-buster: Garden, 7 a.m.

I know my garden is messy. and old. But i enjoy the mishmash. What about that orchid? not bad for someone who has no garden know-how. The delightful thing flourished in spite of me! The other gorgeous plant to the left was a gift. it needs some tender loving care, but I don’t have a clue, and it’s so pretty anyway. The crown of thorn is also flourishing, but, alas, in these times, that doesn’t surprise me.

And another piece of good news. Mosquitoes no longer like me!

Gaping Void

Sometimes, I play this game with the Internet — I throw a question at it and see what answer it returns.

I was needing some inspiration, and the net god sent me back a gaping void. 37 ideas on how to jumpstart creativity, starting with 1. Ignore everybody.

My favorite, and the answer to my question — 24. Don’t worry about finding inspiration. It comes eventually.

ok!
